Are meals and snacks provided?
Yes, we serve fresh and nutritional meals and snacks. Our facility is equipped with a full-service kitchen and staff trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Whenever possible, we do offer substitutions to accommodate individual dietary needs.
Are field trips offered for the children?
Yes, our buses are available for area field trips. We transport children who meet the State's age requirements. These children are given opportunities to see their community and other places of interest year-round. Whether it is the local grocery store, the petting zoo, the library, and entertainment places such as roller skating, bowling or putt-putt golf, we provide fun and learning for the children and guarantee the maximum protection plan for parent's peace of mind.
Is outdoor time available?
Yes, the children have scheduled times throughout the day to explore their outside world in one of our four outside play areas. As an added safety feature, our school has six to nine foot fencing around the perimeter of the play areas and different ages are never mixed on the playgrounds. The play equipment is state-of-the-art and Kids Kids 'R' Kids abides by the Federal regulations on safety equipment and their surrounding fall zones.
Is your staff trained?
Yes, the Kids 'R' Kids faculty members are required to follow their state regulations that apply to training. All staff are trained in First Aid/CPR, Fire Safety, Infectious Disease Control, Injury Prevention, and Child Abuse Awareness. Additional training in curriculum, child development, classroom arrangement, classroom management, age appropriate activities, nutrition, field trip planning and OSHA regulations provide the skills needed to create a quality learning environment. Our staff members are strongly encouraged to further their education through CDA and CCP programs and are given opportunities to attend professional training conferences.
Is there internet viewing of my child at your center?
Yes, our free internet viewing system can connect parents and family members to their child while at work or thousands of miles away. Through a secured internet site, you can observe your child's daily activities via live streaming video. The same cameras are fed to the front desk for additional monitoring by administrative staff.
